Thumb Ledge Installation & Removal

The thumb ledge is secured with Blue Loctite. To remove the existing thumb ledge, apply gentle heat to the retaining screw using a heat gun or hair dryer to help release the thread locker before removal.

When installing the replacement thumb ledge, apply Blue Loctite to the retaining screw and tighten to 5 in-lb of torque. Do not exceed the recommended torque to help prevent stripping or damaging the screw.
