RIGHTS TO YOUR INFORMATION

A. Requesting or Controlling Your Personal Information

We make efforts to provide access, correct inaccuracies, or remove information upon request if not required for business or legal purposes.

Covered Residents (Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Minnesota, Montana, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia) and California residents have specific rights, which may include:

  • Confirm whether we process your information and identify data type, allowing access, correction, and deletion
  • Opt-out of collection, processing, use, sale, or disclosure for targeted advertising or profiling (OA Defense does not do this)
  • Receive portable personal information copies
  • Obtain lists of third parties receiving your data

We require identification and specify which information before processing requests. Verification information is used only for that purpose and not retained.

State “right to delete” or “right to be forgotten” laws do not apply to records we are required by federal law to create and retain, including Form 4473s and bound-book entries maintained under the Gun Control Act and ATF regulations (27 CFR Part 478), or to information requested by the ATF or state or local law enforcement. We will retain and, where legally required, produce these records regardless of a deletion request.

To exercise these rights:

  • Call (910) 975-7316, or
  • Email support@oadefense.com

We will confirm receipt within 10 business days and provide processing information. We endeavor to respond within 45 calendar days. Removal is possible unless we have legitimate/lawful purposes to retain it or are legally required to retain it.

We may refuse requests we believe are fraudulent, unreasonably effortful, infeasible, endanger others’ privacy, or require unusual access. We may deny if we cannot verify you within 45 days. If more time is needed (up to 90 days), we will inform you in writing.

If we deny your request, some states allow appeal submissions:

  • Call (910) 975-7316, or
  • Email support@oadefense.com

B. Do Not Track

We do not respond to “Do Not Track” browser requests.

We will honor a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar opt-out preference signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, or its use for targeted advertising, to the extent required by applicable state law. Because OA Defense does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, honoring this signal does not change how we currently process your information.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY AND AGE REQUIREMENTS

Contact us (see below). Use of this site to purchase accessories, apparel, and non-firearm merchandise is intended for those 18 and older. Where a purchase involves the transfer of a complete firearm through a licensed Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL), federal law requires the receiving FFL to verify that purchasers of handguns are 21 or older and purchasers of long guns are 18 or older; state or local law may impose stricter requirements. The FFL completing your transfer will verify your eligibility and age at pickup.
