Compatibility
Due to the growing number of optics and mounting solutions available, our 2026 models no longer include multiple optic plates.
2026 Models include:
- (1) Dawson Precision Trijicon RMR Optic Plate
- All Dawson Precision OA 2311™ optic plates are compatible with all OA Defense 2311™ pistols.
2025 Models include:
- OA Defense RMR, RMSc, and DPP Optic Plates
- All OA Defense optic plates are compatible with all OA Defense 2311™ pistols.

Most P320 magazine basepads are compatible with the OA 2311.
Options
At this time, we have no plans to develop the OA 2311 in any calibers other than 9x19mm.
Threaded barrel options are not currently available. We are actively developing future options and configurations to meet customer demand. Stay tuned for announcements as new products become available.
Grips, barrels, and frames are not currently available for individual purchase.
For safety reasons, all models ship with a preset trigger weight. Any modification to the trigger system is not recommended and attempts to do so will void the Limited Lifetime Warranty.
No. Compact and Full Size magwells are not available for individual purchase at this time.
Regulations
No. The OA Defense 2311™ is not currently available for general sale in California or Massachusetts, both of which prohibit the sale of this model outright. Verified law enforcement officers in California may purchase with proper credentials — please contact support@oadefense.com to arrange the sale.
The OA Defense 2311™ is approved for sale in Maryland, with the exception of threaded-barrel configurations, which are not permitted under Maryland law.
We continue to monitor regulatory requirements in all states and will share updates if availability changes.
Yes. All OA Defense 2311™ models are available with 10-round magazines for customers in capacity-restricted states.
Technical
Select parts and components are available for sale through our website now. Repairs and service work will need to be performed by a certified OA 2311 gunsmith in order to maintain coverage under the Limited Lifetime Warranty. Details on the warranty can be found in the OA 2311 Owner Safety Manual.
The OA 2311 underwent extensive independent third-party safety testing during development, including drop testing. All of the test pistols passed and exceeded requirements for NIJ duty certification.
