Cocktail napkins to prototypes
OA Defense started as a grassroots idea, shaped by competition shooters, former law enforcement, industry veterans, and a willingness to move fast.

BUILDING FROM THE GROUND UP
The 2311 made a splash at SHOT Show 2023. Riding on momentum and expectations, the company was dedicated to moving from prototype to commercial product. At the time, the company was small, based in Nevada, and literally building from the ground up. Like any start-up, shifts in people and operations tested the team.

What came next was an inflection point – a commitment to look honestly at the business and create the foundation for sustainable growth. A move to North Carolina. The opening of an 27,000 square foot manufacturing facility. The onboarding of new team members. A shared desire to do meaningful work and truly build.
